Good morning folks, just want to start your day somethin reaaaallll frrrrrressshhhhhhhh!
Do I still need an introduction for this bad boy? I didn't think so! I was again invited to create a piece for Bottleneck Gallery's "Gizmos and Gadgets" show in Brooklyn, NY. Theme is about characters in pop culture using their famous "gadget" and I couldn't of anyone else but Tony Stark and his famous arch reactor! Right now he's just warming it up before he goes cruising on the waters.
This is a LIMITED EDITION of 50 prints only and a very HOT item! Grab your copy on Saturday's 1/19 online sale 9:00 am at www.bottleneckgallery.com !
What can a person say about this image and its style. I have yet to see the rest of your gallery, and if this is a preview of more to come than I'm incredibly interested. You've made a simple pose look like so much is going on. I've tried painting Ironman in the past, and working out the lighting and shade of the metal is difficult enough, without the added effectiveness of your style my friend. You have done a good job representing Iron Man, it speaks for Iron Man 3 coming out too. Tony looks gentler, the body position is quite inviting, especially with that light in his hand. It's almost like it's saying "Come look at the light with me." If I looked hard enough, the only place where I suggest improvement may be in the right hand, it feels flat compared to the rest of the picture. In the end, I love the splashes of colour, the lighting and shade contrast, the use of harmonious colours, and the overall inviting composition. Good job.
