Commissioned work. Client requested to have his friends who are both dancers drawn in a dark, sexy, bloody vampire theme. Definitely one of the most interesting subjects I've worked on. I'd like to thank him too for providing me awesome photos of dance positions for reference.

Great detail on this piece! I love the splatter design going on. It goes well with the swarms of bats everywhere, and makes the moonlight seem like it's wrapped all over everything.

The splatter of blood on her neck (and smeared on his face) isn't overdone, making it look like a horror movie poster. The shadowing is good, and those stockings probably took a decent amount of time to do.

Those high heels must have been fun for her to dance in. I hope they weren't on grass. The expression on her face makes it seem like she's enjoying herself, at any rate.
